The failure of COP-15 in Copenhagen last December showed that the UN is unable to deal with the climate crisis. Seeking to maintain the status-quo, it evidences that ordinary people need to get organised and take action! Could the World People's Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth (CMPCCC) called by Bolivia's first indigenous president, provide space for movements? Or was it a distraction to co-opt radical demands? Following the CMPCCC in Cochabamba, April 2010, this booklet reflects on the lessons from Bolivia and the role of movements in the fight for climate Justice.
